My journey into writing.

The Crystal Series 1

When I sat down to write I never expected to actually end up with a complete series. I wrote as a whim. Working full time, home life and other daily happenings, took up most of my days. Early mornings on the weekends were the only time I could sit down with a cup of coffee, my laptop and escape into the world I was creating. The hours from 6 to 9 AM were blissfully quiet as everyone in the house was asleep.

My first book Elements was mostly finished within a year. It was time to decide if I really wanted to continue. It had been in my plans to retire early from a job I was increasingly becoming unhappy with. Having risen in my career in the financial sector with nothing more to learn, experience or find appealing, discussions with my family, along with their encouragement, led me to take the final leap.

I retired. It's been a year since then and now have two books added to the first. The series is complete. I've learned a lot about myself during the journey. One of those is that I absolutely love writing. I can't seem to go a day without it. Another thing is that I have a voice, something to say.

I am now starting a new continuing series, based on mythology, vampires, werewolves and all other creatures we have become familiar with. These books will be a mix of detective, romance, paranormal and mythology stories. My heroine is immortal. Her love interest is of an Asgardian and human mix. Their paths will cross again, after centuries of thinking the other dead, while investigating the death of a young werewolf female.

The story is unfolding and will be hopefully finished early next year. For now, back to writing. Thank you all for the interest you have shown in my works. I will be back soon with more to share.
